Dr. Humayun Salim is a renowned urologist in Bangladesh, celebrated for his expertise in minimally invasive kidney stone surgery (PCNL/RIRS) and advanced laparoscopic kidney procedures. His commitment to using modern techniques has established him as a leader in his field.

Born at Tala Upazila of Satkhira District, Dr. Humayun Salim completed his SSC at Chuknagar Dibya Palli High School in 1990 and his HSC at Govt. B.L University College in 1992. He earned his MBBS degree in 1999 from Sir Salimullah Medical College. Following his internship, he served as a lecturer in the Department of Anatomy at Ibrahim Medical College, Dhaka before entering government service.

In 2003, Dr. Humayun Salim joined the government health cadre, securing eighth place in the 22nd BCS exam. He obtained prestigious FCPS (Surgery) degree from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2008, followed by an MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2011. He completed his MS in Urology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in 2015.

On a personal note, Dr. Humayun Salim is a dedicated family man, proud father to one son and two daughters. His wife, Dr. Sonia Akter, serves as an Associate Professor of Microbiology at Ibn Sina Medical College.
